Offered as a complete set of pads for your bike, the organic compound developed and manufactured by Sinter for the Elites simply will not fade. The new compound has better modulation than any of Sinter's other compounds and provides a better brake lever feel as a result.
The titanium backing plate is lighter than comparable steel plates and has better heat dispersion characteristics.
For now the pads are only offered in Sinter's Model 018 for calipers that take Shimano K-type pads.
