Housing cutters, cable cutters and the third hand

Cable work needs two different cuts. The Cable Housing Cutters 584/4BI-US are made for brake and shift housing only: they cut without deforming it, so the end stays round and the inner cable slides freely. Inner wires want the Diagonal Side Cutters 461/1VDEBI, whose induction-hardened edges leave a clean end that takes a crimp cap. The Cable Puller 1642.1/2P, the third hand, locks cable tension in place while both hands tighten the pinch bolt.
