The hammer in a bike shop is not a framing hammer. The work is a controlled tap that seats a crown race or a star nut without distorting it, or a dead strike that frees a stuck part without bouncing back. The 866 g dead blow hammer has polyurethane faces and a shot-filled head that kills the rebound. The plastic and locksmith hammers cover finished parts and delicate taps, the 3 mm pin punch drives chain rivets and stuck pins, and the flat chisel handles the rough work.

The 750B hacksaw cuts steerers, seatposts and bars to length, with metal blades and the abrasive 750.1CAR blades that cut carbon fiber without fraying it.
