Mangled threads don’t mean throwing away a frame or a component. In most cases threads can be safely re-cut, or in the case of our Crank Saver Kit, fully replaced. Destroyed threads in a crank arm no longer necessitate throwing that crank away. Our reaming taps and thread inserts can take a wrecked crank and give it life again!
Similarly, sometimes just a touch of material has to be removed. Or a freshly cut -something- deburred. Or brake pads deglazed. Our files work great for that.
