A 28 kg road bike on a manual stand asks the mechanic to lift it to working height twice; the same mechanic lifts a 65 kg e-bike to the same height fifteen times a day, six days a week. The back math doesn't work. The Unior Electric Repair Stand 2.0 lifts that 65 kg bike for you at the press of a button, parks it at the working height the mechanic actually wants, and clears the next bike from the queue without a recovery break.

This is the second-generation Unior electric stand, redesigned around a one-piece aluminum column with all wiring routed internally. Stable, clutter-free, and rated to lift bikes up to 70 kg (700 N).

How it works

The 2.0 lifts the bike via an endless-height drive; no preset stops, no fixed-position pin. Press the button (or step the foot pedal) and the column travels until you release; the automatic stopping system holds position. A knob-controlled travel limiter with memory returns the mechanic to a most-used working height without re-measuring. A built-in load display reads the bike's weight at every lift; the safety system halts the column on overload.

The clamp is the Unior Master Shop Repair Clamp 1693.1M, the same clamp specified across Unior's pro repair-stand line. Anti-slip jaws hold carbon and aluminum frames without coring tubes.

Features

  • Two-way control: button-panel and foot pedal.
  • Endless height adjustment with adjustable travel limiters (memory function).
  • Integrated LED light above the clamp.
  • Load display at every lift; self-diagnosing fault codes during service.
  • Two USB ports (A and C) at the panel; optional Wi-Fi.
  • Hidden wiring: all cables routed internally through the aluminum column.
  • Master Shop Repair Clamp 1693.1M anti-slip clamp interface.
  • Fixed to floor or to the heavy-duty fixed plate (sold separately) with floor leveling.

Who it pays back for

The 2.0 is the right call for shops where the bench mechanic is lifting bikes more than ten times a day; high-volume retail service, e-bike-heavy service catalogs, and mechanics whose backs are starting to log the cost of repeated lifts. For a shop that turns four bikes a day and runs mostly road and gravel, a manual stand stays cost-justified.

Built in Zreče, Slovenia

Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče since 1919, and is the official technical partner of multiple World Tour and downhill teams. The 2.0 is the V2 generation of the stand; the aluminum column, the updated control board, and the protocol that pairs with the wireless remote (1693EL.20) and the Height Extension Kit (1693EL.11) are V2-only features. Full user-serviceability and published repair instructions carry over from Unior's hand-tool line.

Pro tip from our mechanics

The 2.0's value is in workflow, not in lifting power per se. The lift saves a few seconds per bike; the consistent working height saves an hour a week per mechanic by removing the small posture corrections that compound over a shift. The electric stand sits at the top of the workshop-stand decision tree; whether it pays back for your shop depends on the lift cadence more than on the catalog mix: How to choose a bike repair stand →
