Collection: Wheel Truing Stands

Truing stands from the workshop bench to the trail

Three ways to true a wheel. The Pro Truing Stand 1689 is the shop reference: a stronger base that keeps the calipers parallel under a built wheel, arms long enough for 29-plus wheels, and adaptors for thru-axles and Cannondale Lefty hubs, with a rotor truing gauge and a calibration tool to keep it honest. The Portable Truing Stand 1688 weighs 2.3 kg, folds flat and takes 16 to 29 inch wheels. The Pocket Wheel Truing Tool 1753/6 straps to a seatstay for a trailside fix.

The wheel dishing tool checks that the rim sits centered over the hub, and the beech plywood base puts the Pro stand on a bench you would rather not drill. For lacing and tensioning, see Wheel and Spoke Tools, and for the method, how to true a bike wheel.
