Collection: Thread Repair & Facing Tools

Thread repair, taps and facing tools for frames and cranks

Stripped pedal threads, a bottom bracket shell that was never faced, a head tube that will not seat a headset square: these are the jobs this collection exists for. The Crank Saver kit re-threads a crank arm with a threaded insert so the crank stays in service, and the pedal tap set chases paint and corrosion out of threads that are still sound. Bottom bracket taps in BSA, Italian and T47, the facing tool 1699 with its cutters and guides, the head tube reamer and facer 1694 and frame taps in M3 and M5 cover the rest of frame preparation.
