A parts cabinet is only as useful as its dividers. A 145-liter drawer full of chains and brake pads, with no internal partitions, is just a bigger pile of chains and brake pads. The Unior 990ND6 Narrow Drawer Cabinet ships with a 6-drawer body sized to fit through European-standard 475 mm doorways and shop aisles, and the drawer dividers (sold separately) drop in to subdivide each drawer to the inventory it actually holds.
What you get
- Dimensions: 475 × 650 × 870 mm (L × W × H). The narrow 475 mm footprint is the differentiator; the 990ND6 fits in spaces where the wider 990WD7 doesn’t.
- Drawer count: 6; 4 shallow (374 × 570 × 70 mm), 1 deep (374 × 605 × 150 mm), 1 extra-deep (374 × 605 × 230 mm).
- Drawer capacity: 50 kg per drawer.
- Total volume: 145 L combined.
- Static load capacity: 300 kg.
- Drawer system: SOS tool tray compatible; the same 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 foam inserts the wider cabinets accept.
- Lock: central locking with folding key; foam keyring.
- Body: Premium PLUS sheet metal; eco-paint to Qualicoat coating standard.
- Drawer slides: full-extension, ball-bearing; synthetic-lined to protect tools from rolling-bearing wear.
Drawer dividers sold separately. The dividers are what turn a six-drawer cabinet into a six-drawer inventory: a chain in its slot, a brake pad next to it, neither shifting when the drawer slides closed.
Who it’s for
Three shop profiles where the 990ND6 earns its place:
- Parts-room cabinet. Use the 6 drawers for chains, pads, derailleur hangers, cassette lockrings, master links; high-turnover consumables that need a fixed home and live count.
- Narrow-aisle shop. The 475 mm footprint fits where the 650 mm and 760 mm cabinets don’t. A retail-front shop where the service area gets the leftover floor space picks the 990ND6 over the wider chests.
- Specialty-tool dedicated drawer. Suspension service kits, bleed kits, bearing presses; large tools that don’t earn drawer space in the main bench cabinet but get used weekly.
For shops needing more drawers and broader capacity, the 990WD7 7-drawer wide chest is the bench-integrated equivalent.

Pro tip from our mechanics
The dividers-sold-separately model is a workshop feature, not a cost-cutting one: the same drawer holds chains, then pads, then cranksets across a cabinet’s life, and the divider configuration changes with it.
