BikeGator Repair Stand, Quick Release

The BikeGator Quick Release is the base BikeGator portable stand fitted with the Pro Shop quick-release clamp, the same clamp head we ship on our shop-floor 1693 series stands. Squeeze the jaws by hand until they hold the tube, then turn the rotating handle to add clamp force. To release, turn the handle the other way first, then press the quick-release button; using the button alone can damage the lock and void the warranty.

This 1693AQ0 is Unior's current BikeGator generation of the 1693A/1693AS stand: folding support tubes, a new jaw mount and rotation system, an improved sliding system, and precision aluminum and steel parts. Height adjusts from 980 to 1500 mm. The stand weighs 5.7 kg without a tool tray and is rated to 30 kg. The QR clamp is the differentiator versus the official manual BikeGator (1693AS0-US), which is specified for 24 to 40 mm tubes.

The clamp's 22 to 60 mm tube range is the widest in our portable line. It covers standard 30 mm round seatposts, deep aero seatposts, modern oversized top tubes, and the 60 mm tubes you find on some downhill bikes and most cargo e-bikes; the official manual BikeGator (1693AS0-US) is specified for 24 to 40 mm tubes, which covers a typical road and gravel mix but not the 60 mm end of this QR clamp.

Unior warns that opening the clamp with the button alone can damage the lock and void the warranty.

What tube sizes does the BikeGator QR hold? The fitted Pro Shop Clamp (1693.1Q) takes tubes of any shape from 22 mm to 60 mm. Jaw height is 70 mm, which Unior specifies for smaller seatposts and dropper posts. The official manual BikeGator (1693AS0-US) is a different clamp, specified 24–40 mm.

Does the 1693AQ0 include a tool tray or carry bag? No. Unior lists the weight as 5.7 kg without a tool tray. The 1693.3 tray and the 1693BAG carry bag are official accessories sold separately, as are the 1693.11 rubber jaw covers and the 1693.1Q-SP.1 rebuild kit.

How does the BikeGator QR ship? It is an oversized item, so it is not eligible for the free-shipping tier.
