Set Of Wrenches With TX Profile And Hole In Plastic Clip

A nine-piece L-shape Torx set in a plastic clip holder, sized to cover the bike-relevant Torx span (T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40) and including the through-hole geometry that lets the wrench seat onto tamper-resistant Torx pins. The L-shape is the high-torque finishing format that complements a T-handle Torx set for the work the T-handle's leverage doesn't quite reach.

A T-handle Torx wrench is the fast tool; spin the bolt between your fingers, snug it down with both hands on the cross-bar. An L-shape Torx is the slow-but-strong tool: the long arm acts as a lever for breaking loose a stubborn bolt or for setting a high torque value where the T-handle's leverage tops out. The two formats coexist in a shop because the work they each suit doesn't overlap.

Compatibility

• T8 through T10: Di2 and AXS small fasteners
• T15 through T25: saddle clamps, chainring rivets, brake-lever clamps, 6-bolt disc-rotor bolts (T25 is the industry standard)
• T27 through T30: SRAM disc-brake hardware, current Shimano and SRAM chainring bolts, some crank-arm fixing bolts
• T40: larger frame-fastener and bearing-preload bolts on some component-maker designs

The through-hole geometry on each wrench means the same L-key seats both standard Torx and tamper-resistant Torx (TR-Torx, also called security-Torx) recesses. The center hole clears the security pin without compromising standard-Torx engagement on a non-pinned recess.

The through-hole on each wrench is more useful than most riders realize. E-bike battery covers, locking rear racks, and some seatpost / saddle clamp implementations use security-Torx pins specifically to discourage casual disassembly. A standard Torx driver bottoms out against the pin and won't engage; this set seats on both fastener types without doubling the tool inventory.
