We made the Made For Work tee in black, and only black, because a shop t-shirt has one job that fashion-grade tees don't: hide a long day. Chain lube migrates. Bar grease ends up where bar grease ends up. The greasy-hand smudge on the front of a tee from the time someone forgot to wipe down before grabbing lunch. Dark cotton handles all of that without making a thing of it. Grey looks good in the changing room and looks like a story by Wednesday afternoon.

The blank is a Next Level 6210 CVC crew (60% combed cotton, 40% poly); printed in the USA, mid-weight, fits the way a shop tee should fit (not boxy, not slim, just out of the way). We picked it after wearing a lot of blanks and finding that this one held shape through the wash cycle. A tee that pulls long after two months in heavy rotation has gone past the bench-wear threshold and into “wear it under the hoodie” territory; we wanted something that stayed at the front of the rotation.

A small Unior Bike Tools logo sits on the left chest. The bigger Made For Work mark sits across the back, which is the side a customer sees when you're bent over a stand. It's positional; the back graphic does the line-identity work without putting a big logo across your chest while you're filling out a workorder.

Built by a tool company

Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče, Slovenia, since 1919, and sponsors professional road and mountain-bike race teams. The Made For Work line is the gear-side companion to the tool catalog. We sweat the details that come from shop work; like printing on a blank that survives the wash without distorting, and putting a back graphic on a tee where it'll actually be seen.

Pro tip from our mechanics

A black mid-weight cotton tee is the workshop's most-used layer. It survives the laundry cycle and it doesn't broadcast every greasy-thumb mark a long day produces. If you want a different cut, the Unior Bike Tools Euro T-Shirt is the classic 100% cotton crew in black or grey. FAQ

What blank is the Made For Work tee printed on? A Next Level 6210 CVC crew, printed in the USA. Next Level lists the 6210 at 60% combed ring-spun cotton and 40% polyester, 4.3 oz fabric weight. It is a mid-weight knit that holds its shape through repeated washing.

Does the Made For Work tee come in other colors? No. Black only, on purpose: dark fabric hides the chain-lube and grease marks a working week leaves on a shop shirt. Sizes run Small through X-Large. If you want grey, the Unior Bike Tools T-Shirt, Euro comes in black or grey.

Where are the logos printed? A small white Unior Bike Tools wordmark sits on the left chest, and the large stacked Made For Work graphic covers the upper back, with the Unior symbol standing in for the O in FOR. Both prints are white on the black fabric.

Is this the same shirt as the Unior Bike Tools T-Shirt, Euro? No. This is the US-printed tee on a Next Level blank, sold in black only. The Euro tee is Unior's own 1850M.BIKE article, a 100% cotton crew sold in black or grey. Both carry the white chest mark and the Made For Work back print.
