The Tool Wrap Kit is the smaller-format companion to the Pro Tool Wrap Kit: the same support-car-headrest carrier in a more compact size, filled with a curated tool selection sized to a backpack, a car trunk, or a small workshop corner. The format covers the cyclist who wants to be ready for everything without committing to a full hard-case kit.

The wrap is sized for the tools an enthusiastic home mechanic or a professional XC or CX mechanic wants on hand. Smaller than the Pro version, but still covering the workflow that gets a bike rolling again from a trailhead or a feed zone.

What the kit includes

The tool selection is sized to the wrap format and the work it sees most:

  • Long ball-end hex wrench set, sizes 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 mm
  • TX profile wrench, size T25
  • Crank cap tool
  • Chain tool with integrated tire-valve tool
  • Round spoke wrench
  • Set of two tire levers
  • Crosstip PH00 screwdriver

How the wrap carries

A pair of aluminum eyelets accept hanging from the headrest of a support car's front seat. Strong Velcro strips close the wrap for transport. Elastic strap loops accept odd-sized tools; small side pockets accept consumables and small parts.

Built in Zreče, Slovenia

Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče since 1919, and sponsors professional road and mountain-bike race teams. The Tool Wrap Kit format is the working-mechanic option for travel; the smaller wrap fits the bag at the bottom of a trail bag without giving up the tools the work needs.

Pro tip from our mechanics

A Tool Wrap Kit lives well between rides: in the back of the car, on the back of a workshop door, at the bottom of a race-day bag. For a fixed home shop with regular service work, the Home Kit hard case is the better-organized format; for a more comprehensive mobile-mechanic format, the Pro Tool Wrap Kit is the next step up.

FAQ

What tools come in the Tool Wrap Kit? Fifteen pieces including the wrap: eight long ball-end hex wrenches (1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm), a T25 Torx wrench, the 1609.1 crank cap tool, the 1647/5MINI mini chain tool with a built-in tire-valve core tool, a 1631/2 round spoke wrench, a set of two red tire levers, and a PH00 crosstip screwdriver. The itemized list is on this page.

How does the wrap hang in a car? A pair of aluminum eyelets at the top of the wrap takes a hook or strap under the front-seat headrest, the support-car setup Unior builds these rolls for. Off the car, the wrap rolls up around its tools and closes with Velcro straps for a backpack, a trunk, or a race-day bag.

Is there room to add my own tools and spares? Yes. Beyond the fitted tool pockets the wrap has elastic strap loops for odd-sized tools, side pockets with full-flap closures for small parts and consumables, and enough room to roll a mini pump inside. The coated-PU fabric is waterproof and oil resistant, so it wipes clean after trailside work.

What does the Pro Tool Wrap Kit add? The Pro Tool Wrap Kit keeps the wrap format and adds a Pro Socket Handle, a chain wear indicator, a cassette wrench with a cassette lockring tool, and the 2-For-1 disc brake tool. Its roll is 650 x 380 mm against this kit's 500 x 285 mm. If you service cassettes or disc brakes away from the workshop, step up to the Pro; this kit covers hex, Torx, chain, spoke and tire work.
