Empty tray for SET2-2600AC 560×570×40 mm vl2-2600AC

On this page
Bottom-bracket service and crank service share the same workflow: the cranks come off first, the BB comes out second, and the work is reversed for reinstall. Bundling the BB and crank tools into one tray means the mechanic pulls a single drawer for the workflow rather than two. The SET2-2600AC BB & Crank Tools tray for the Unior 2600A and 2600C workbenches is sized for this combined-workflow purpose; a foam-cut tray dropping into the 990WD7 cabinet integrated into the 2600-series benches.
What this tray covers
The tray is loaded with the Unior BB and crank service tool inventory: crank pullers, crank-cap tools, the full Unior BB socket range covering modern standards (16-Notch Hollowtech II, BB9000, BBR60, BSA30, FSA MegaEVO, T47, E13 and Hope, backed by two 12-notch wrenches and an 8-notch cartridge and Bosch lockring tool), plus the Hanger Genie 2.0 for the hanger-alignment check that closes out a crank job, and the 1/2-inch ratchet and swivel handle that drive the sockets.
Tool category coverage:
- Crank cap and crank pullers; for the disassembly side of crank service.
- Bottom-bracket sockets; eight aluminum sockets, from the Shimano patterns to E13, Hope and T47.
- Pro pedal wrench; for the pedal removal that often precedes a crank pull.
- Hanger Genie 2.0; the hanger-alignment gauge for the derailleur-hanger check that finishes a crank service.
The tray ships with the empty foam shell; replacement shells available separately if the tool inventory shifts over time.
Note on the specific tool list: this tray is the current-generation successor to the SET2-2600AC-US Drivetrain tools tray: that earlier US-catalog tray 2 is themed around drivetrain service — its 26-tool loadout includes the master chain tool and chain wear indicator — while this generation dedicates tray 2 to bottom-bracket and crank service. A few articles, like the 1609.1 crank cap tool, the 15 mm pro pedal wrench and the Hanger Genie, carry across both generations.
Compatibility
Sized for the bench-integrated 990WD7 drawer in the Unior 2600A and 2600C workbenches. Drops into the standalone 990WD7 wide tool chest for shops running the cabinet outside a bench.
Built in Zreče, Slovenia
Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče since 1919, and sponsors professional road and mountain-bike race teams. The BB socket range carries the in-house Unior corporate spec phrasing for each cup pattern: 16-Notch covers Shimano Hollowtech II at the 16-notch tool-side engagement, BSA30 covers the BSA30 standard at the 30 mm-spindle envelope, T47 covers the modern T47 BB shell standard. Each spec is corporate-published, not generic.
Pro tip from our mechanics
A BB-and-crank tray is one of the load-bearing drawers in a shop. Crank service is high-volume for any shop running cassette swaps as a recurring service line. FAQ
Which Unior workbenches does this tray fit? It is sized for the Unior 2600A professional mechanic workbench and the 2600C master workbench, as a full-width tray in the 990WD drawer format with a 562 × 570 × 30 mm footprint. The foam shell itself (article vl2-2600AC, 560 × 570 × 40 mm) is listed separately in Unior's catalog as a replacement.
Does the tray include a chain tool or chain wear indicator? No. The 25-item SET2-2600AC loadout is dedicated to bottom-bracket and crank service, so no chain tools are included. The previous-generation US-catalog tray 2 (SET2-2600AC-US) was themed around drivetrain service and did carry the master chain tool and a chain wear indicator — worth checking if you are matching an older bench setup.
Which bottom bracket standards do the included sockets cover? Eight aluminum BB sockets ship in the tray — Shimano BB9000 and BBR60, BSA30, FSA MegaEVO, 16-Notch (Hollowtech II), E13, Hope and T47 — plus their retaining tool. Two 12-notch wrenches (46.3 mm and 48 mm), a cartridge bottom bracket wrench, a BB90 removal tool and an 8-notch cartridge and Bosch gen. 3 & 4 lockring tool round out the bottom-bracket side.
Do I need to supply my own ratchet to drive the BB sockets? No — the tray includes a 1/2-inch reversible ratchet and a 1/2-inch × 450 mm swivel handle, so the sockets are driven from the drawer itself. The crank side is equally self-contained: two crank pullers, Hollowtech II and SRAM DUB crank cap tools, and a 15 mm pro pedal wrench.
