Pro Kit Tool Case 2.0 970PROKIT

On this page
The Pro Kit 2.0 is the current-generation update of the Pro Kit that Unior developed with the race mechanics of its UCI WorldTour partner teams. 55 tools in a waterproof case designed around the workflow of mobile race-team service: drivetrain service, brake service, hub and wheel work, the small-fastener spread a modern road or MTB build runs on, and intentional spare capacity for the brand-specific tools a working mechanic adds over time.
The 2.0 update over the previous-generation Pro Kit grows the selection from 48 to 55 tools, updates it for modern drivetrain and brake service, and replaces the previous divided bin with two removable SOS foam trays in the base of the case.
What the case carries
- Hangout pallet: 9 pockets, hooks to the front of the case so frequently-used tools stay at hand during work. Sized to carry everything from pliers to open-end wrenches.
- Lid: flaps close with Velcro straps, locking tools in place during transport. Inside the flaps, individual pockets sized to T-handle hexes up to size 10 and small-tool pockets sized down to 1.5 mm L-keys.
- Foam trays: two removable SOS foam trays with precision-cut slots sit in the bottom of the case; lift them out and keep them beside you while you work.
- Sealed shell: watertight seal around the lid with an automatic pressure-release valve, plus holes for a shoulder strap (strap not included).
The 55-tool selection covers full chain and cassette service, master-link work, BB service, brake service (piston spread and rotor truing), hub bearing service, and the hex/Torx/socket spread a road, gravel, or MTB build needs. Spare capacity in the case is intentional: a workshop adds brand-specific tools (a Campagnolo lockring socket, a Bosch lockring tool) and the case still closes.
Travel and security
Easy-to-open double-throw latches. The case is waterproof and dustproof in accordance with IP67 certificate.

Built in Zreče, Slovenia
Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče since 1919, and sponsors professional road and mountain-bike race teams. The Pro Kit 2.0 is the case that travels with team mechanics on the road and lives on workshop benches at every tier of the sport; the 2.0 changes are the ones the mechanics who carry the previous generation asked for.
Pro tip from our mechanics
The Pro Kit 2.0 is the right starting point for a serious home shop and the right destination for a mobile mechanic. A common workshop pattern is to pair it with the Suspension Service Set 2.0 for fork and rear-shock work and a Bottom Bracket Bearing Press Kit for press-fit BB installs. The three together cover full builds.

FAQ
What is different between the Pro Kit 2.0 and the original Pro Kit? The selection grows from 48 to 55 tools and shifts toward current standards: a 6-13-speed chain wear indicator that also reads SRAM Flat Top chains, a 2-in-1 disc brake tool for pad spreading and rotor truing, a multispeed chain whip and cassette lockring tool, cone wrenches covering 13-17 mm, and a flare nut wrench for hydraulic fittings. The base of the case now carries two removable SOS foam trays where the previous case used an open bin with an aluminum divider.
Is the Pro Kit 2.0 case waterproof? Yes. The case is waterproof and dustproof in accordance with the IP67 certificate, with a watertight seal around the lid and an automatic pressure-release valve. Easy-to-open double-throw latches close it securely, and the shell is heavy-duty composite with corrosion-free nylon pins.
How is the Pro Kit 2.0 organized inside? A hangout pallet with 9 pockets hooks onto the front of the case and keeps the most-used tools at hand. Inside the lid, two flaps close with Velcro straps for transport and open to 35 dedicated pockets - the largest take T-handle hex wrenches up to size 10, and special small pockets hold L-shaped hex keys down to 1.5 mm. Two removable SOS foam trays with precision-cut slots sit in the bottom, for 44 pockets in all.
How big and heavy is the Pro Kit 2.0? The loaded case measures 460 x 320 x 180 mm (18.1 x 12.6 x 7.1 in) and weighs 9.9 kg (about 21.8 lb) with all 55 tools; the empty case is 4.2 kg. The lid carries molded holes for a shoulder strap, though the strap is not included.
